French Dinky

Dublo Dinky
This range of smaller models was introduced by Dinky Toys in 1957. Designed to complement Hornby Dublo OO guage model railways, they are made to a constant 1:76 scale. The range continued in production until the mid 1960s.

Miniatures
The Dinky Toys brand was acquired by Airfix Products in 1971. These miniature Dinky Toys, aimed at competing with Matchbox, Hot Wheels and Corgi Juniors, were manufactured in Hong Kong on behalf of Airfix and launched in 1980. At this time the Dinky and Meccano ranges were in dire straits, and Airfix itself went bust in early 1981 and was acquired by Palitoy. Probably because of the company's troubles, these 'Airfix Dinkies' made little impression of the shelves of UK toy shops. As a result, they are now quite rare and collectible.

Delivery is based on total weight. Minimum charge is £2.15 for diecast toys (e.g. Matchbox 1-75). Minimum charge for smaller items is £1.20.
