This is the first issue of the Indian Elephant in the Britains Herald range, based on and replacing the Britains lead model 901.

This one's tail and one ear have broken off and need to be glued back on (they're held in place with Blu Tack in some of the photos). In other respects the model is very good, and it comes in its original white, yellow, blue and green box. This is in good condition with light creasing on one side and the price of 5/- (five shillings) marked on one end.
