Britains 172F Fordson New Major Tractor

Britains 172F Fordson New Major Tractor

Ref: 33540

NEW ARRIVAL
Poor, Unboxed

Price: 22.50

Blue with silver trim to exhaust and engine parts. Radiator grille labels with green lattice design, red plastic headlights on either side with silver lenses. 'Fordson Major' decals in white on each side of the engine cover. The steering operates through the steering wheel via a wire linkage. The rear linkage has orange plastic struts and may be raised and lowered using the lever. There is also a clevis drawbar and mounting points for front implements, e.g. a Muledozer. The wheels are orange metal at the rear and orange plastic at the front, both with rubber tyres.

This example is well worn and has lost a lit of paint from the engine cover. The steering wheel is broken off and missing, and the operating arm has broken off the other end of the steering column. The wire steering link is still present. The rear linkage works, although slightly bent, and the wheels and tyres are good. The front axle is also slightly bent. The headlamps and grille labels are intact.

A rare item which would cost a lot more in better condition!
