Corgi 275 Rover 2000 TC

Corgi 275 Rover 2000 TC

Ref: 29836

Mint, Box Good
Price: 64.00

In a metallic greyish green with brown interior. The windows are amber tinted and there is a large sun roof. Plated front and rear bumpers and four 'jewelled' headlights.

This model features Corgi 'Golden Jacks' with take-off wheels. A little lever is located on the underside of the vehicle next to each wheel. When flipped down, the level supports the car and allows the wheel to be removed. Several Corgi cars were fitted with this feature in the late 1960s, but it was quickly withdrawn when Whizzwheels were introduced. The model has a spare wheel in a black plastic container on the boot (trunk) lid, bearing the Rover logo. This may seem a strange feature, but the real Rover 2000 was notorious for its limited baggage space and many owners increased capacity by taking the spare wheel from the boot and mounting it in this way.

This example is in lovely mint condition, complete with spare wheel. The box is complete but a little worn, and the original price is marked on the front.
