As featured in the US TV series 'The Monkees' which originally ran from 1966 to 1968. Designed by Dean Jeffries and based on the Pontiac GTO, two prototypes were originally built for use both in filming and promotion.

The model is red with white roof and orangey-yellow interior. The grille, headlights and exposed engine are chrome plated, while at the rear there are orange lights and a silver-painted parachute pack. The wheels are cast metal with black tyres, larger at the rear. On the doors are 'Monkees' decals in yellow, and inside are the four members of the Monkees: Mike Nesmith and Micky Dolenz in the back, Peter Tork as front seat passenger, and Davy Jones at the wheel.

This example is in good played-with condition, with chips on the body and along the edges of the roof and windscreen pillars. There is also some rubbing to the wheel arches. The decals are almost perfect, one has a little nick. All four figures are present and correct.
