Tan, with black grille and front bumper with silver trim. Black tinplate base, and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' cast into the chassis. The rear body tips when the side handle is turned. On the side there are twin sliding shutters in green tinplate, and a hinged green diecast door at the rear. The wheels are red ridged diecast with smooth tyres, which suggests this model was made before treaded tyres were introduced around 1957/8.
This example is good, with light general chipping around the edges and raised body lines. The shutters and door are all present and work as they should, and the 'corkscrew' tipping mechanism operates smoothly. The tyres are excellent and the axles rust-free..
