Red cab, chassis and Supertoys wheels, fawn-grey rear body. The Foden 'FG' cab has a silver front bumper, headlights and grille. At the rear is a tow hook and '20' plate on one rear mudguard.
This example has '934' cast into the underside rear of the load bed, this being the number of the Leyland Octopus which was introduced in 1956 and shared the same rear body casting. This suggests the model dates from the period when production of the Foden and Octopus overlapped; earlier castings had '901' or no number cast in.
In play-worn condition, with general chipping particularly on the cab roof. The tyres on the front axles are grey and are probably original as they are hardened and misshapen The rear ones are black modern replacements. The spare is missing, although the mounting is in place.
A good candidate for restoration!
