A Mercedes coupe in dark red with cream interior and black plastic wheels. When it was launched in 1963, Matchbox claimed this was the first model saloon car to have opening doors. The base is black metal.
This one has some paint chips, mainly on one side, and a couple of small black marks. The doors are intact and the axles rust-free. There is some white paint on the tyre treads. The type D box is crisp, but has lost the tab from one end flap.
