This finely-detailed fire engine is finished in red and black, with gold lettering and pinstriping. The cylinder and pumping mechanism are modelled in brass effect and black, with white plastic hoses. The spoked metal wheels are also red with gold trim, and the front ones are on a swivelling sub-chassis with the drawbar connected. The engine is pulled by two white diecast horses with grey manes, tails and hooves, and black harnesses. The crew of four firemen are in Navy blue and gold uniforms, and look very smart.

In as new condition, this model comes in an expanded polystyrene box with red and gold outer sleeve, and complete with historical notes.
