This jail wagon is blue with red roof and black front and rear panels, the latter with steps. 'CLAY COUNTRY JAIL WAGON' on the sides in black. The red rear door opens, and there are handrails with a moveable bar. The driver figure has the rein in one hand and a whip in the other, and there is a rifle at his side. The panel behind him has a sliding hatch.
The wagon has pale yellow spoked wheels and pale brown articulated front axle and shafts. It is drawn by a white horse with brown harness and tan base.
This is an excellent example; it is complete but there is some sunlight discolouration on one side of the van . The window box is complete but somewhat crumpled, with the window is torn in several places.
