Just browse the Shop, using the Menu or Site Map to get to the right section quickly. To see more pictures and information about an item, click on the small picture in the item list.

• When you see something you want to buy, click + ADD. You'll be asked to enter your country so delivery can be calculated. Click CONFIRM and your basket total will be displayed.
• If you want to add more items to your basket, click CONTINUE SHOPPING.
• When you've finished, click CHECKOUT. Enter your address and select your delivery method.
• Choose your payment method. If you have chosen Credit/Debit Card or PayPal you will be taken to the secure payment site to complete the transaction. Your items will be reserved for you immediately, and will appear as 'SOLD' on the website. You will receive an email acknowledgement of your order straight away, along with payment instructions if you have chosen to pay by another method. If the email hasn't arrived, check your Spam/Junk folder!
• Your order will be dispatched as soon as payment has cleared.

Delivery is added automatically when you check out, and you will have a choice of delivery methods. We strongly recommend choosing Tracked delivery which provides compensation for items lost or damaged in transit. Tortoys cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to untracked items. The delivery charge is based on a flat fee for handling/packaging plus an amount related to the approximate weight of the package. Sometimes we may split a delivery into more than one package.

The easiest way to check the delivery charge is to add the items you want to your basket then view the total. You don't have to make a purchase. A table of our charges can be viewed here.

The best way to check the condition of an item is to look at the pictures. You can view at least 2 pictures of each item if you click the small image next to each item in the listings. We also give condition ratings, showing separate ratings for the model and the box. This is what the ratings mean:

Mint	As new
Excellent	Just one or two very small defects which prevent a Mint ranking, perhaps a very small chip in an inconspicuous place. Boxes will show signs of having been opened and closed.
Good	General chipping but still good enough to display. Boxes may be creased or slightly torn but are still the right shape and no parts missing.
Fair	Extensive chipping, damage to decals or cracked windows, but no parts missing. Boxes may have flaps missing.
Poor	Badly damaged, parts missing, very rusty, and/or repainted. Not suitable for display. Boxes completely mangled.

Click on the small picture of each item and a page will appear showing further details and some larger photographs. Please give the pictures time to load, especially if you have a slow connection: the photographs are loaded as a single image file. There are usually at least 2 photographs per item, sometimes as many as 6 or 7.

Unless specifically stated, all photographs are of the actual items being offered for sale, not "library" pictures of similar items. If you would like to see a particular view of an item that you cannot see in the photographs please email me and I wil be pleased to email you the pictures you require.
