This accurate scale model captures the look of the real car very well. The plastic body is in an attractive sage green, with chrome plated bumper, grille, headlight surrounds, side trim and door handles. 'Glazed' lights and 'XPJ 600' number plates front and rear. The cream interior is tinplate, with a matching plastic steering wheel.
The wheels have chrome hub caps and rubber tyres, and the front ones are steerable (manually positioned). An electric motor is fitted to the rear axle, powered by two 'C' batteries and controlled by a forward-stop-reverse switch underneath one rear door.
The bodywork is excellent, with a some rubbing to the chrome on the headlight surrounds and door handles. The motor does not run, but is intact so it may be possible to coax it into life. There is some damage to one front stub axle mounting (see photos) but this does not affect the appearance on display.
The model comes in its original 'harlequin' coloured box with internal plinth and with a 6-page large format (275 x 213mm) brochure covering the whole 1:20 scale electric range. The box is generally excellent, although there are some tape marks on the flaps and a surface tear on one end.
