This was one of a range of kits based on the existing range of Airfix 1:32 production car kits, but with the addition of a motor, chassis and other components to build a slot car with Ackerman steering. In grey plastic with off-white interior and wheels, and racing number 5 on the bonnet and doors.
This kit has been assembled, and is in working order. It has been built as an open convertible; I believe the kit originally contained an optional roof, but this is not present. There is a small moulding defect at the front top edge of the passenger door.
Note that this model is designed to run on Airfix track, which has wider conductor rail spacing and a deeper slot than Scalextric.
