Airfix MRRC

Model Road Racing Cars Ltd was founded in 1951, producing early rail- and later slot-based racing systems. MRRC joined the Airfix group in 1962, bringing about the introduction of Airfix Motor Racing Sets. Airfix added trackside building kits to the range in 1964, as well as motorised slot car kits based on some of Airfix's already existing static car kits. After the closure of Airfix Industries in 1981, MRRC became an independent company, and now is a brand of German company H+T Motor Racing.
