Primrose yellow with silver grille, headlights, bumpers and number plates, and red rear lights. Red interior with silver-grey steering wheel. This was the first Corgi model to have an opening bonnet, which reveals a detailed silver-painted engine. With a grey base, this one has the early flat spun metal hubs with black tyres and suspension.
A lovely near mint example, with only a few tiny marks and excellent tyres. The wheels have been fitted with spoked effect stickers, a sheet of which was supplied with early examples of this model; later ones had cast spokes. The box has some crushing and creasing on one side, and the hinge of one inner flap is partially torn. A price of 4/6 (four shillings and sixpence) is written on one end.
