This is the scarce 1973 version of the Batmobile with red Whizzwheels. Gloss black body, red interior with Batman and Robin figures, silver dashboard and gold steering wheel. Tyre slasher at the front, rocket launcher and aerial on the rear deck. Fixed 'flame' exhaust and tow hook. Untinted windscreens.
This example has paint rubs on all four corners and light chipping around the radiator grille. Otherwise, the paintwork is excellent, bright and shiny. The bat label on the driver's side has some edge wear, and the one on the other side is missing altogether. Batman and Robin are present and correct. The windscreens are undamaged with no cracks, but the dome light on top is missing. There is some loss of plating from the rocket launcher, but it has been tested and is working, although there are no missiles included (reproductions are available from various sources). Unfortunately the front chain slasher's spring has broken, so it doesn't pop out when the button is pressed.
The rear suspension works, the front does not.
The window box is good-to-excellent, with light general wear. The window is slightly crumpled but not split. There is a mark on one end where a price label has been removed. There is no owner's badge.
