This the competition version of the Corgi Aston Martin DB4, with turquoise and white paintwork and pale yellow interior. The bonnet opens to reveal a detailed engine. This is the version with spun metal wheels with black tyres and suspension. Headlights are jewelled. There is a crossed flag decal on the bonnet and racing number 1 roundels on the doors.
This model example is near mint. There are some little rubs on the edge of the engine bay, and a small bit missing from one corner of the union flag on the decal. The box is good-to-excellent, with slight wear to the flaps. A price of 5/6 (five shillings and sixpence) is written lightly in pencil on one end.
