This attractive and sought-after early Corgi Toys model is in pale yellow with silver trim and a red rear body. Labels on the sides advertise Moorhouses' products: Lemon Cheese on one side and Jams on the other. The windows have a slight blue tint. The plain flat spun metal wheels have tyres, including the spare slung under the rear of the chassis.
This is a lovely example, with almost unblemished paintwork; there is one very small mark on top of the rear body and a couple on a rear mudguard. The labels are very well preserved (no pun intended). One of them has slight creasing on the bottom and rear edges, where it looks as if they have been re-glued after starting to lift.
The original box is rather 'tired'. It is complete, but one end flap is detached. There is some writing in pencil on one face, and a price of 5/6 (five shillings and sixpence) in ink on one end.
The box is the early blue type and is original and complete. There is some general light wear and ageing, with a dear to one inner flap and some pen marks on one end flap.
