Red, with grey base and rear platform, cream seats incorporating side stripe, and deep yellow stairs. Silver grille and jewelled headlights. With driver figure and 'Clippie' (conductor) standing on the platform at the back. 'CORGI CLASSICS' advert on one side of the upper deck and 'Naturally CORGI TOYS' on the other. 'London Transport' decals on the lower deck sides in gold and black and number/destination boards front and rear: London Bridge at the front, Victoria at the rear. The wheels have shaped spun hubs with black tyres and suspension.
This is a beautiful early example, very near mint. The box is good-to-excellent, a little crushing at one end and some wear to the edges of the flaps. A price of 8/9 (eight shillings and ninepence) is written in pencil on one end.
