My Mum used to drive one of these! In recent years the Ford Anglia has come to attention of younger generations as the 'Harry Potter car'. This Dinky model is finished in turquoise with silver trim, red rear lights and red interior with off-white steering wheel. Windows are glazed and the tinplate base is gloss black. Wheels are spun metal with black 'M' tyres, suspension and fingertip steering.
In excellent condition, there is a small chip on the boot lid and a few on the roof pillars. There is some rubbing on the raised body waistline. The box is original and complete, but has suffered some crushing at one end. A price of 3/9 (three shillings and tenpence) is written on one end flap.
