This pre-war set consists of 1 x 21a Tank Locomotive. 2 x 20a Carriages, and 1 x 20b Guard's Van. The locomotive is cast in lead, and is maroon and black with a red buffer bar at the front. The carriages and guard's van have red chassis cast in lead, with a Mazak body in maroon with a cream roof.
In fairly good played-with condition, although the coupling on the locomotive is broken off and there is a chunk missing from the roof of one carriage due to Mazak fatigue. Some of the axles are bent, but could easily be straightened. The blue lidded box is generally good, but there are splits in the edges of the lid at one corner. The full colour label on the lid has a pen mark through the model number but is otherwise very good, and the end label is intact with a circular red sticker over one end. The four internal cream-coloured compartments are intact.
