In red (of course!) with a silver tinplate ladder and brass effect bell. This fire engine has 'Fire Brigade' decals with crest and the hoses are picked out in light grey while the radiator grille and headlights are silver. The base is gloss black tinplate and the spun aluminium wheels have black tyres, suspension and 'Prestomatic' fingertip steering.
This example is in excellent condition with bright paintwork and undamaged decals, although there are some paint chips on the edges of the cast-in roof ladder, a couple on the front of the roof and a few little ones elsewhere. The RAC badge on the radiator grille is from a Corgi Accessory Pack. And could be removed if desired.
The box is worn, with one end flap detached and the other with tape marks and a price of 5/9 (five shillings and ninepence) written on it.
