Tan-brown cab and chassis with silver trim, and mid green rear body and crane. Black 'DINKY SERVICE' lettering on the sides. Black tinplate base. The crane hook can be wound up and down by turning the handle on the side of the jib. Red cast ridged wheel hubs and smooth black tyres.
This example has moderate paint chipping, heavier on the crane and one cab door. There is some discolouration on one side of the rear body. The crane works, although the cord and hook are not original. The tyres are in good shape but have hardened with age, and the axles are rust-free although there is some rust on the crane winder.
The model comes in its early orange lidded box with paper label. There are tears at two corners of the lid, but the label is in very good condition. There is some rust on the staples and staining inside.
