Red body and shovel arms, silver bucket and engine/base unit. This is the type 1 casting with a diamond on the front but no grille detail. There is a 'Taylor Woodrow' decal on the rear of the cab. The shovel arms may be raised and lowered, held in place by a concealed 'hydraulic' ram. The bucket tips forward and back, again held in place by a second set of rams. The cab is glazed and contains a driver figure.
This example has been partly over-painted on the cab, one side and the rear weights. The remaining original red paint is slightly faded. Some number plates have been attached to the front and rear of the cab roof. The shovel works as it should, although there is some rust on the bare metal parts,
The yellow and blue lidded box has light general wear, and one corner is split. A price of 6/11 (six shillings and elevenpence) is written on one end.
