This 4-axle Foden has the 2nd type 'FG' cab and is finished in dark green with dark green flatbed and posts with rounded bosses. The cab has silver trim to the grille, headlights and bumpers. One of the rear mudguards has a 20 MPH speed limit sign - this was the maximum speed for goods vehicles in the UK until 1957. At the rear are a tow hook and spare tyre. The wheels are the metal Supertoys type, in mid green with black treaded tyres.
This example is excellent, with near mint paintwork - just a few extremely small marks and a little dust in places. However, one of the rear posts is slightly bent, and one of the wheels has a small casting defect in the centre. The mottled tinplate and axles are rust-free and the tyres are excellent, apart from one which has a very slight flat spot..
The blue lidded box has an orange and white wrap-round label on the lid, with a greyscale picture of the model. The lid is a little rather faded and there is some light wear, with a couple of small tears to the label but no splits or tears.
