This set consists of 688 Field Artillery Tractor, 687 Gun Limber, and 686 25-pounder field gun, all in military green. The tractor has a spare wheel and driver figure, and small square red and blue Royal Artillery markings on the front and rear. The elevation of the gun barrel may be adjusted. The wheels on all vehicles have cast ridged hubs with black treaded tyres.
This set is in excellent condition. The tractor has a little rubbing along the raised front lip of the roof, but is otherwise near mint. The gun limber and gun have the usual paint loss on the towing eyes, and the limber has some very slight paint rubbing on the corners.
The lidded box has light general age wear, but no splits or tears. The lid is very slightly crushed and there is some staining and tape marks on its lower edges. It is complete with its internal card tray and square central packing piece.
