In red with silver trim to the grille and headlights. Red tinplate tank with black ladder, walkway and caps. Spare wheel and tow hook at the rear. 'Esso Petroleum Company Ltd' on the sides in blue on white stripes, 'Esso' sign on the rear in red on a white oval with a blue border. Red 'Supertoys' wheels with black treaded tyres.
In excellent condition, near mint. There are a couple of tiny nicks on the edge of the Esso sign. The tyres are like new and the axles rust-free. The striped lidded 'DINKY SUPERTOYS' box is also excellent. For some reason there is a Canadian postage stamp on one end of the lid.
This example is complete but in play worn condition. It has a mixture of tyres: grey at the front, black at the rear. I believe the grey ones are original.
