Yellow crane mounted on an orange 6-wheel lorry chassis. The crane is fully operational: it has two handles that are turned to raise and lower the jib and the hook, and the crane can be rotated on the chassis. This is the earliest release of the model, with drivers in both the lorry and the crane cabs. Wheels are yellow metal, and are fitted with grey tyres. The 'Coles' logo is on the rear of the crane.
This example has been repainted to a good standard at some stage in its life, although it has since acquired a few paint chips. The crane is a more mustardy yellow than original. Some yellow and orange stripe decals have been applied to the front bumper. The crane mechanism works, and the cords appear to be original although the hook is not. The axle that connects the jib to the crane body has been replaced by a split pin. The tyres have hardened with age and have flat spots.
The Supertoys box has italic lettering on the lid. The lid is worn on the edges and split at the corners, which have tape repairs on the inside, one of which has come unstuck. The bottom part of the box has no splits but a little crushing. There is no internal packing piece.
