The Fowler Showman's Engine is one of Lesney's most impressive models, with superb detailing.
This one is in red-brown with white roof and gold roof supports. The chimney is stored on the roof, ready to be erected when the engine reaches the fairground and is put into action generating power for the rides! Wheels are spoked metal, finished in yellow with unpainted metal treads. The 'Made in England by Lesney' plate on the underside is in body colour.
This one has some small paint chips, mainly on the roof, and the decals are fully intact. However, unfortunately the smokebox door is missing altogether!
