British racing green with tan tonneau and chrome bumpers, grille and wheels. Racing number 5 on the bonnet and doors. Driver has white overalls and a yellow helmet. This is the "type 3" release with a small driver's head and narrower bumpers.
In fair-to-good condition, this example is in working order with good tyres, and runs well on the track. The bodywork has some of the dreaded white mould which often appears on early Scalextric cars; I've wiped it off for the photographs but it will probably return! The windscreen and racing numbers are intact, but the middle bit of the front bumper is missing and the driver has lost some white paint. Note that the guide/pickup mounting has some Plasticine inside, presumably to make it fit more snugly..
