Metallic dark red with cream interior. Opening bonnet reveals chrome plated engine. The doors open and the front seats slide. 'Mini Marcos' side decals and 'glass' headlamps. This model features Corgi 'Golden Jacks' with take-off wheels. A little lever is located on the underside of the vehicle next to each wheel. When flipped down, the level supports the car and allows the wheel to be removed. Several Corgi cars were fitted with this feature in the late 1960s, but it was quickly withdrawn when Whizzwheels were introduced.
This example is excellent condition. There are three small chips; one on one front wing, one on the top edge of the passenger door, and another on the front 'bumper'. The box is faded and has some general age wear, but the window is intact. A price of 7/11 (seven shillings and elevenpence) is written on one end.
