Derived from the Corgi 207 Standard Vanguard, this Royal Air Force version is in RAF blue with silver grille and bumpers, red rear lights and black cast base. 'R61' decals front and rear, with an RAF roundel on the front one. 'Standard Vanguard III' on the base. The wheels are the early flat spun type with black tyres.
This is a lovely, very near mint example; there is a slight rub on one rear light, and another rub on the underside. The decals are fully intact and the original tyres are excellent. There is a little adhesive residue on the wheels, probably left over from some adhesive wheel trims from a Corgi Accessory Pack. In an early blue box, which has some ageing and wear to the edges, with some crushing on one side.
