This is a model of the 'World Championship Commemorative' Lotus Esprit which was produced in limited numbers to mark the success of the Lotus F1 team in the 1978 season. Black, gold striping and windscreen frame. Silver door handles, badging and exhaust. Charcoal interior with pale beige seat panels. 'Glazed' lights including pop-up twin headlights operated by a lever under the front of the model. 'HAH 190T' number plates front and rear.
In a clear plastic display case with black base, and card outer box. With collector card/certificate of authenticity: this one is number 216 in a limited edition of 1400.
Mint condition, in very near mint packaging; there are a couple of slight scuffs on top of the plastic case.
