A rare car these days, the first Ford Capri was a coupe version of the Ford Consul Classic, with a strong trans-Atlantic styling influence. The Dinky Toys model enjoyed a production run nearly twice as long as the real car! Finished in turquoise with white roof, silver grille, headlights and bumpers and red rear lights. The interior is red with an off-white steering wheel, and the tinplate base is gloss black. The wheels are spun metal with suspension and 'Prestomatic' steering.
This one is in excellent condition, with light chipping along the raised body waistline. The box has some general wear, and has lost one end flap and one inner flap.
