This is a trade box of four 25v Refuse Wagons, from the days before Dinky Toys were sold in individual boxes.
Each model is light tan with black grille and front bumper, and with silver trim on the grille and headlights. Green tinplate sliding side shutters and diecast opening rear door. Mottled black tinplate base, and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' cast into the underside of the chassis. The wheels have red ridged hubs and smooth black tyres. The rear body tips when the handle on the side is turned, via 'corkscrew' mechanism.
These are all in good condition, with chipping mainly confined to the cab roofs and raised casting lines on the rear bodies. The tyres are excellent and the axles and handles are rust-free.
The yellow lidded box is complete with 3 dividers. There is black lettering on each end of the lid. The box has general age wear and creasing, with some rust on the staples and some writing on the top.
