Red bus with type 3 Leyland grille . Silver grille and headlights. '73' route number front and rear, and 'Exide Batteries' adverts on the sides in black and yellow. This is the scarcer version with spun metal wheels and black tyres.
This one has some rubbing/chipping along the centre line of the roof, and slight fading of the upper deck paintwork on one side. Otherwise excellent. The box is verry good; there is light creasing along the edge of one face, and a faded area on one end flap. A price of 4/8d (four shillings and eightpence) is written in pen on one face.
