This 4-axle Foden tanker is an early issue with the 1st type DG 'exposed radiator' cab. The cab and chassis are red, and the cab has silver side flashes, bumper, grille and headlights. The tinplate tank is fawn with black ladder and walkway. At the rear is a spare wheel, small tow hook and '20' decal. The red ridged wheels have black treaded tyres.
This example is generally in very good played-with condition, with some paint chips on the cab and mudguards. There is, however, a rusty patch at the rear of the tank on one side - see photos. The axles are bright and rust-free and the tyres are excellent. In an early brown lidded box with orange, white and black illustrated label. The staples are rusty and the label has some staining, and one corner of the lid is split.
