This articulated lorry is in deep yellow with black wings and radiator, and with silver trim on the grille and headlights. The tinplate 'DINKY SUPERTOYS' base is mottled black. The trailer has a tow hook and '20' decal on the tailboard in white on a black background. The wheels are red ridged cast metal, with smooth black tyres on the tractor and treaded tyres on the trailer.
This example is in good played-with condition with light general chipping, heavier on the cab roof and edges of the bumper and front mudguards. The decal is fully intact and the tyres are in good shape although somewhat hardened, and the axles are rust-free. The model comes in its original blue lidded box with orange, white and black illustrated 'Supertoys' label. The lid has faded slightly, there is a small surface tear on one side and a small hole in the label. A price of 5/6 (five shillings and sixpence) is written on one end. The bottom part of the box has no staples on one side; there are no staple holes either, so this appears to be a factory error.
