This set consists of 688 Field Artillery Tractor, 687 Gun Limber, and 686 25-pounder field gun, all in military green. The tractor has a spare wheel and driver figure, and small square red and blue Royal Artillery markings on the front and rear. The elevation of the gun barrel may be adjusted. The wheels on all vehicles have cast ridged hubs with black treaded tyres.
This set is in excellent condition. The tractor has some chipping on the front bumper and radiator surround, and light rubbing around the edges. The gun limber and gun have the usual paint loss on the towing eyes, and the limber has a couple of chips on the top.
The lidded box has general age wear, but no splits. The lid has some surface tears on top, and a crossed-out price on one end. The lower part of the box is missing its card inner tray and packing piece.
