Deep orange-yellow, with red trim lines and rear bumper. Silver front bumper, grille and headlights, other lights in red. Gloss black tinplate base. Red seats, beige steering wheel. 'SCHOOL BUS' in black on the front and rear of the roof, and 'UNLAWFUL TO PASS WHEN LOADING OR UNLOADING' on the rear. Red plastic wheels with black tyres, double at the rear.
In excellent condition with bright, shiny paintwork. There are a few chips around the body corners, and some loss to the bottom line of the rear lettering. The box is excellent; a number '4' is written on each end of the lid, with a price of 12/9 (twelve shillings and ninepence) in pencil on one end.
