This is one of 75 models released in 2004 to commemorate 35 years of the Matchbox 'Superfast' range. Although it is the newer MB363 casting, made in China and with a folded sunroof cast in, it replicates the original colour scheme of white body and cream interior. Like the 1969 version, it has '137' racing numbers on the doors. The chrome-plated base incorporates the bumpers and tow hook. Unlike the original, the silver headlamps are tampo printed rather than part of the base casting, and the rear lights are red. The front bumper has no cast-in Monte Carlo Rally sign, but there is a tiny 'RALLYE 69 CAR' printed on the bumper itself. The wheels have the early Superfast 5-spoke design.
