This model of a 'split screen' VW Caravette was made to a larger scale than its predecessor, the 34a VW Microvan. The bodywork is pale green, with a darker green interior and base and green tinted windows. The double side doors are hinged, and they open to reveal a table with bench seats. This is the version in which the table and seats are attached to the base by rivets. Wheels are grey plastic with 24 treads.
This is a very nice example, very near mint except that there is a hole in one front wheel. The type D box has light creasing on the plain sides and a little wear to the edges of the flaps.
