This model of a 'split screen' VW Caravette was made to a larger scale than its predecessor, the 34a VW Microvan. The bodywork is pale green, with a darker green interior and base and green tinted windows. The double side doors are hinged, and they open to reveal a table with bench seats. This is the version in which the table and seats are attached to the base by rivets. Wheels are grey plastic with 24 treads.
This one has some paint chipping on the doors, but otherwise is almost unmarked. There is just a hint of rust on the axles. The type C 'New Model box is excellent, with light wear to the edges of the flaps.
