A nice period piece, this 'split screen' Bedford CA van would have been used to deliver newspapers around London in the late 1950s/early 1960s. In yellow with silver trim to the lower grille and front bumper, and black base. Grey plastic 24-tread wheels on rounded axles. 'Evening News' themed decals on the roof sign, sides and doors.
This one is in excellent condition, with some light rubbing to raised body lines. All six decals are excellent too; one of the roof sign decals has been applied too far forward, and has consequently lost the 'S' of 'NEWS'. The axles are rust-free, In a type C box, issued 1961-62, which is near mint.
