This is a very fine example of the first issue of the Matchbox Thames Estate. In two-tone turquoise and yellow, this is one of the most attractive early Lesney models although I don't remember seeing any real ones on the road in such bright colours!
This is the earliest version without window glazing and with grey plastic wheels on rounded axles. The base is black and the headlights, grille and bumpers are silver.
In superb condition with bright paintwork. A few very small rubs along raised edges. The type B5 box has some creasing on the 'plain' slides and wear to the edges of the flaps.
