This is an impressively long Matchbox model! With dark blue tractor and maroon trailer with dark blue bogies and sire tow bar. Wheels are black plastic with coarse tread, and the front bogie on the trailer swivels. 'PICKFORDS' decals in white on each side of the tractor and bogies.
This example is in good played-with condition with shiny paintwork. The tractor has two chips on one front mudguard and another on the rear body edge. The trailer has some scratching at each end of the load bed, presumably where a load has rubbed. All six decals are perfect, and the axles are rust-free.
The box has lost most of its flaps and is crushed and torn with tape marks. A price of 3/11 (three shillings and elevenpence) is written in pencil on one face.
